Wall mounted EMEC diaphragm dosing pump with manual speed adjustment, available in five duty points from 2 L/h at 15 bar to 20 L/h at 4 bar. Speed is adjustable from 1 to 100 per cent with a 10:1 speed divider for extra turndown, and a solid PTFE diaphragm with ceramic ball check valves handles most common dosing chemicals. Supplied complete with foot valve, injection valve and 2 m each of suction and discharge tubing.

How do I choose the right dosing pump?
Work out your required dose in litres per hour from the dose rate and system flow, check it sits inside the pump’s turndown range, then confirm the model’s pressure rating exceeds the pressure at the injection point.
Why is the dose rate always quoted with a pressure?
A dosing pump is selected on a duty point, so 2 L/h at 15 bar and 17 L/h at 2 bar are completely different pumps. Always give us the flow you need and the pressure you are dosing into.
How far down can the dose rate be turned?
Speed is adjustable from 1 to 100 per cent, and a 10 to 1 speed divider gives further turndown for very low dose rates. A pump that cannot go low enough is the usual reason a dosing install does not work.
What chemicals do the wetted materials suit?
The solid PTFE diaphragm and ceramic ball check valves suit most common dosing chemicals, and the EP models with EPDM seals are intended for caustic dosing. Send us your chemical and its concentration and we will confirm the right liquid end.
Manual or digital, which do I need?
Manual suits a fixed dose into a steady flow that someone sets once and leaves. Choose the digital pump if you need to follow a 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V signal, dose proportionally to flow, batch dose, or get an alarm output.
Do I need a probe or a controller with this pump?
No. The manual pump runs at the speed you set it to and takes no measurement input. If dosing has to respond to a measured value such as pH, you need a controller and probe driving a digital pump.
What consumables does it use?
The wearing parts are the suction and discharge tubing, the foot valve and injection valve assemblies including their ceramic balls and springs, the check valve seals, and the diaphragm.
