Q: What's the difference between the manual and automatic models?

Automatic (TMA) models carry an integrated float switch, so the pump starts and stops with the water level and won’t run dry — ideal for unattended sumps and holding systems. The video shows how they work.

Q: Will it really last in seawater?

Yes — titanium forms a self-repairing oxide layer in salt water, giving corrosion resistance beyond any grade of stainless steel, which suits permanent installation in seawater intakes, sumps and live-holding systems, including warm-water sites.

Q: Is it safe around live stock?

Yes — the lubricant is liquid paraffin rather than mineral oil, so a seal failure won’t contaminate the water around live stock.

Q: Should I choose the TM, PN or PU series?

Pick the TM for anything sitting permanently in salt water. On freshwater drainage the semi-vortex PN series gives more head per kilowatt, and the vortex PU series passes solids to 46 mm without clogging.

All wetted metal components are titanium — corrosion resistance beyond any grade of stainless steel, built for permanent immersion in seawater, including warm-water sites where crevice corrosion shortens pump life
Liquid paraffin lubrication instead of mineral oil — safe for live-holding systems, aquaculture and aquariums if a seal ever fails
Dual silicon carbide mechanical seals, oil lifter and anti-wicking cable entry for continuous submersed service
Single-phase 240 V models (0.25 / 0.4 kW) are RCM certified; three-phase models to 3.7 kW
Automatic float-switch (TMA) versions available for unattended operation with dry-run protection
Back pull-out design for easy inspection and maintenance
Applications: seawater intake, transfer and drainage for marine RAS, live seafood holding and hatcheries; aquarium life-support; bilge and vessel duty; waterscapes and general water transfer
Sizing: work out the flow you need and the total head the pump works against (lift plus pipe losses), then find that duty point on the performance curve and choose the smallest model whose curve passes above it.
