Which micron rating should I order?
Match the rating already fitted to your machine unless you are deliberately changing solids capture — finer mesh removes more solids but backwashes more often.
Do I need a new tensioner as well?
Only if yours is worn or you are converting to Spiderplate — the AISI 316 stainless tensioner is listed separately as part code FSTEND80.
Can I fit spider screens to a filter currently running standard plates?
Check with us first — the Spiderplate upgrade uses its own mesh support and tensioner, so the change-over needs confirming against your machine.
