How do I choose the right size?

Match the ID to the barb or fitting on your equipment — 4 mm and 6 mm for air lines, 13 mm and 19 mm for general liquid transfer — then confirm the duty is low pressure, as no pressure rating is published.

Is it sold per metre or per roll?

Per roll only — 4 mm in 100 m or 200 m, 6 mm in 100 m, and 13 mm and 19 mm in 10 m rolls.

Is it suitable for ozone or pure oxygen?

No. Ozone attacks ordinary PVC and this hose carries no oxygen service rating — use Tygon Ozone Tubing for ozone and Mako Red Multipurpose Oxygen Hose for oxygen.

Is it food-grade or potable rated?

No food-grade or potable rating is published for this hose. Use Mako Clear PVC Tubing or Mako Clear Vinyl Tubing where a food-grade line is required.

Will it survive outdoors in the sun?

It resists general environmental wear, but prolonged UV will yellow and embrittle clear PVC, so shade or lag long exposed runs.

Can I use it on a pump suction line?

No — it is unreinforced and will collapse under vacuum. Use a reinforced hose such as Mako Clear PVC Tubing on suction.
