Oasis iX and C-Series Heat Pumps (Heat and Chill)

Full-inverter heat pumps that both heat and chill, from the 9.4 kW iX9 to the 120 kW C120, on titanium heat exchangers for fresh, brackish or salt water. iX and C-Series capacities are rated at different air temperatures — size against the reference condition.

  • Full DC-inverter compressor — output follows the load instead of cycling on/off, around 30% more efficient than standard on/off units and holds water temperature steadier
  • Reverse-cycle: every model heats and chills from the one unit, with automatic defrost that keeps it running in ambient temperatures below 0 °C
  • Chilling output is lower than heating output on the same unit — an iX9 gives 9.4 kW heating but only 3.2 kW chilling — so a chill-driven system needs a larger model
  • Titanium heat exchanger and gold-fin hydrophilic-coated condenser coils — fresh, brackish or salt water
  • R32 refrigerant (low global warming potential)
  • 3.5″ LCD touch controller, fully programmable with multi-period tariff/time scheduling; Wi-Fi as standard and solar PV-ready on the iX Series
  • iX Series 9.4–28.9 kW on single phase (three phase on the iX28T) with 40 mm connections; C-Series 38–120 kW three-phase commercial with 50–110 mm connections
  • To size a unit, start with your water volume, the temperature lift you need at your coldest site ambient (or the pull-down at your hottest) and your system turnover — then read each kW figure against its own reference condition, because the iX and C-Series are rated at different air temperatures. Do they heat and chill, or only heat?
Every model is reverse-cycle — heating and chilling from the one unit.
Is the chilling capacity the same as the heating capacity?
No. Chilling output is lower on the same unit — an iX9 gives 9.4 kW heating and 3.2 kW chilling — so a chill-led system needs a larger model.
What conditions are the capacities rated at?
iX heating at 27 °C air / 26 °C water and iX cooling at 35 °C air / 29 °C water; the C-Series is rated at 19 °C air / 26 °C water for both heating and cooling.
iX or C-Series?
iX for tanks, ponds and small-to-mid systems up to about 28 kW; C-Series for large RAS and hatcheries from 38 to 120 kW on three phase.
Can they run on salt water?
Yes — the titanium heat exchanger and gold-fin coated coils suit fresh, brackish and seawater systems.
Will they work on cold mornings?
Yes — automatic reverse-cycle defrost keeps them running in ambient temperatures below 0 °C.
