Monorail Nets

0.8 mm for fry and live feed, 3 mm for fingerlings, and 6 mm or 12 mm for grow-out and market-size fish.

No — the extruded aluminium monorail frame forms the rim and guards the mesh itself, so no separate edge guard is required.

Yes — replacement nets are stocked for the 23 × 15 cm, 30 × 33 cm and 40 cm frames, and bare frames and handles are also sold separately.

Complete nets are supplied with a 45, 90 or 152 cm handle, and spare 25 mm handles are stocked in 90 cm (AK-3) and 150 cm (AK-5).

8 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm and 30 cm depending on frame size — the 30 cm bags are on the 40 cm frames.

The frame is one-piece extruded aluminium and the handle is 25 mm aluminium, so the net stays light in the hand at full reach.

Yes — models outside the stocked range can be ordered in; tell us the frame size, mesh, net depth and handle length you need.

Product Information

One-piece extruded aluminium monorail frame — the rail forms the rim of the net opening, so the mesh is guarded by the frame itself and no separate edge protection is fitted
Three frame sizes — 23 × 15 cm, 30 × 33 cm and 40 cm — covering fry sorting through to grow-out handling
Four mesh grades — 0.8 mm, 3 mm, 6 mm and 12 mm — from fry and live feed up to market-size fish
Net depths of 8, 10, 15 and 30 cm; the deeper 30 cm bags hold fish securely on longer lifts
25 mm aluminium handle, supplied in 45, 90 or 152 cm lengths for tank-side, raceway and pond reach
Replacement nets, bare frames and spare handles all stocked separately, so a torn bag does not mean a new net
Combinations outside the stocked range can be ordered in
To choose your model: set the mesh from the smallest fish you will handle (0.8 mm for fry and live feed, 3 mm for fingerlings, 6–12 mm for grow-out), then pick the frame size to suit your tank, and finally the net depth and handle length for how deep and how far you have to reach — every stocked combination is listed in the table below.
