FIAP Belt Feeder Spare Parts

They are replacement parts for the FIAP Belt Feeder in 3 kg and 5 kg hopper sizes. If you have a Belt Feeder PRO, confirm the belt and drive parts with Fresh By Design first, as the PRO uses a different drive shaft and conveyor assembly.

Belts are specific to hopper size: order the 3 kg belt for a 3 kg feeder and the 5 kg belt for a 5 kg feeder. They are not interchangeable, and both are supplied with the clock drive journal.

Match the run time your feeder is set up for. A 12 hour clock empties the belt over 12 hours, a 24 hour clock over 24 hours.

Wind the new clock fully by the sides with an adjustable wrench without touching the copper spring or pendulum wheel, pull the belt out until it is about 15 to 20 mm past the end of the feeder box, hold the roller and toggle it to engage the clock, then fit the two brass barrel nuts a little more than finger tight.

Remove the old spring, washer, screw and retaining hardware, fit the new spring with the slot on its inner engaged on the dowel on the belt roller, cut the retaining wire while holding the spring together, then work the eye end over to the hole and secure it with the retaining screw, large washer, barrel and lock nut.

An adjustable wrench to wind the clock and a small screwdriver for the brass barrel nuts. Everything else is tightened by hand, and covers should be no more than finger tight.
