When floor space is the constraint — rectangles pack against walls and each other with no wasted corners, which circular tanks cannot do.

Q: Is a rectangular tank cheaper than a circular one?

No — the long flat walls need a much heavier laminate, so cost per litre is higher than the Ajay flat base or tapered base circular ranges.

Q: Does a rectangular tank clear solids?

It has central drainage but a flat floor, so solids settle — use the Ajay tapered base range if the floor has to clear solids itself.

Q: Can you build a raceway?

Yes — custom built raceways are available on request in this range.

Q: Is the litre figure total volume or working volume?

It is the supplier storage capacity; working volume is not published, so allow your own freeboard when sizing.

Q: Does the published height include the legs?

For RT2000 and larger the quoted height is measured with the FRP support legs fitted.

Long flat wall sections need a much heavier laminate than a circular hull, so cost per litre is higher than the Ajay flat base or tapered base circular ranges — choose rectangular only when the footprint is the constraint
Flat rectangular floor with central drainage, so solids settle rather than sweep to the outlet; the Ajay tapered base range is the one to pick if the floor has to clear solids itself
Outlet sizes and PVC fittings are made to your specification, and a variety of outlet designs is available
Smooth, food grade, gelcoated interior, hand laminated for extra quality control and strength, flowcoated exterior, coloured to your specification
Custom built raceways available on request; lids quoted on request; optional aluminium or fibreglass tank bases
Published height for RT2000 and larger is measured with FRP support legs fitted, and large tanks ship in halves for assembly on site
Ten sizes — RT100 to RT30000, 100 L to 30,000 L nominal storage capacity, 0.600 m to 8.250 m long and 0.450 m to 4.300 m wide. The supplier publishes storage capacity only, not working volume, so allow your own freeboard. Other sizes and custom raceways available on request
