How do I work out which model and how many units I need?
Size on pond surface area and oxygen demand – match impeller count and motor kW to each pond’s surface area, depth and stocking density, and send Fresh By Design your pond dimensions and stocking plan for a unit count.
What is the difference between the TA-55H and the TA-55M?
Both run a 1 HP (0.75 kW) motor, but the TA-55H carries two impellers and the TA-55M carries four, so the TA-55M works a larger patch of water for the same motor size.
Which models are available in single phase?
The TA-55H, TA-55M and TA-66H are available in both single phase and three phase; the TA-747H is supplied three phase only.
Do the paddlewheels arrive wired and ready to run?
No – all paddlewheels are supplied unwired and no electrical cables are included, so allow for wiring and a starter in your installation.
Why does the adjustable parabolic impeller matter?
It can be set to change the splash pattern, throwing finer droplets over a wider, higher arc, which increases the air-water surface area and the oxygen transferred per kilowatt.
What warranty applies?
Team Aqua paddlewheels are covered by a 12-month warranty.
Are spare parts held in Australia?
Yes – impellers, motors, gearboxes, plastic bearings and movable joints for the TA-55 and TA-66 range are stocked by Fresh By Design.
